OK - HERE WE GO !!

No.1 Would you break the law to save a loved one? .. why?

I am not going to tell you if it had already happened or not but I would definitely do it, breaking the law doesn't always mean that you’re doing something wrong. We break laws more often than we realise. Under-age drinking anyone?

No.2 What is the difference between being alive and truly living?

As a writer, I have to say that it’s pure semantics! I would personally use both to prove a point. “I haven’t started truly living until I met him… then I just felt alive.”

No.3 What motivates you to write?

The voices in my head… they do not want to leave me alone until I get the story out. I'm currently writing my fifth novel and will soon have four books out but I'm still a brand new author. I've a few fans and they fact that some people out there like my book is a good thing.

No.4 Why do humans want children?

I believe it’s imprinted in us to reproduce. Personally, I crave this unique connection and love from a mother to a child. It’s the purest form of love and we cannot feel complete until we experience it. That being said it’s not for everyone…

No.5 What was the biggest challenge in creating your book Bird Of Prey?

It was my first try in writing mystery. I needed to make sure that the plot makes sense. I pulled all the mystery tricks I remembered out of my bag. People didn't see it coming.

No.6 What is the most important thing you have learned in life so far?

If you have a talent use it. Don’t wait, seize the moment. You don’t want to be this author with a dusty manuscript in the attic. We had a lot of those already lol

No.7 How did you come up with the title Bird Of Prey ?

It’s going to sound terribly very cliché but you would need to read the book to find out. The answer is there. It’s not a bird, or a plane… it’s a term.

No.8 How do you handle personal criticism?

It gives me a stomach ache and drives me to drink but that’s me, how about the rest of world? As long as it’s respectful enough, the ache would eventually go away.

No.9 Why should people read your book?

Sémya Slotin is one of my favourite characters. She’s feisty, gifted and loves her wine. The thriller series around her will introduce the readers a new world. It’s not just a regular whodunit, every character is a mystery. There will be bad “guys” but in Sémya’s world there is no real good ones either.

No.10 Why is there something rather than nothing?

Because we think therefore we are… because you be something, feel something, do something. You need your life to have a purpose. Whatever it might be. This was a deep one lol

Thanks Danielle for taking the time to answer my questions & the best of luck with your new book!
